Extension of CEBEC accreditations

On 9 January 2004, Mrs. Fientje Moerman, the Belgian Minister of Economy, confirmed that the Belcert accreditations of CEBEC have been extended since 7 May 2003. The extension mainly concerns:

• the activities of CEBEC as notified body for the European Directive 93/42/EEC on Medical Devices;
• new domains for the certification of environmental management systems.
