Automotive Certification
Our certification activities are provided in more than 90 countries. SGS is a key member of the International Independent Organisation for Certification (IIOC). SGS Systems and Services Certification is accredited to provide system, product and service certification and training against the relevant standards.
System Certification
SGS has extensive experience in management system certification, in particular the following standards: ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001, SA 8000 (Ethics), OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health & Safety), VDA 6.1, TS 16949. To date, SGS has issued over 70,000 system certificates with over 900 customers in the automotive sector around the world.
Service Certification
Qualicert Service Certification is an official certification scheme which provides independent recognition that an organisation has met commitment to service quality. Qualicert is ideal for service providers and allows them to visibly demonstrate their dedication to providing customer satisfaction. SGS will only certify those 'results' of a service provider if they are:
- objective and measurable
- above legal requirements, and the reasonable expectations of the consumer
- will enhance the image of the sector or organisation.
