Texts are always more fluently read and understood in one's own language. Wrong interpretations certainly cannot be allowed in technical and scientific information. Especially for documentation about technical equipment and software applications, this is not a simple matter, considering the hectic manner in which translations are often produced. The translation process only starts when the product has been finalized, with very tight deadlines as a consequence.
