Norms applicable to household appliances have been revised. For manufacturers,  deadlines have been set by when they shall get new certificates for their products.

SGS-CEBEC has built a list of all current EN 60335 norms with their validity dates.

This concerns thousands of products, grouped into 108 categories. The new norms are introduced progressively, because the changes aren't always equally important. With European norms, manufacturers are given a transition period of 2 to 3 years to modify the technical aspects of their products and get them certified.  That is why it is important to know the Dates of Withdrawal (DOW).
